Water your lawn at the right time of day. We recommend that you water your lawn in the morning, while it is cooler outside. This prevents water from evaporating or from burning your grass. If you can not water during the early morning, then the early evening is acceptable, as well. You should not water late into the evening or at night because it promotes fungus and disease.
Under normal weather conditions, watering every 2 or 3 days will usually be plenty. But, in drought-like conditions – and to ensure your lawns aren’t stressed – you really should be watering every day. Make sure you’re watering long enough, and often enough in these extremely hot conditions.
If you don’t have time to water as often as you would like, or would like to get your water bill’s cost down, we recommend our water maximizer application which helps your grass retain moisture longer, which in turn diminishes the length and amount in which you need to water.
