Soil Testing

Soil testing is important to the care of your lawn because it indicates the pH balance of your soil. Understanding your soil pH balance will ensure that you have the proper nutrient levels in your soil in order for your lawn and plants to thrive. Plants have a pH range that they do better in due to mineral availability which is between 6.0 to 7.0 (slightly acidic to neutral range). If your pH is outside the range of the plants, they can and will suffer from nutritional deficiencies like weak growth, discoloration, etc..

Soil testing for pH balance can determine if your soil is too acidic or too alkaline. Based on the test results will determine what is needed to bring your soil pH back to balance. Our soil testing process involves us taking a small sample of your soil, and then we send it off to a third party laboratory to perform the testing. After they have run all the tests, then will send us a comprehensive report that will allow us to pinpoint the problems you may be having with your soil.

Here at Lush Lawn, we not only offer soil testing, but based on the results, we have developed three soil treatment programs that would work best with your soil. The Soil Sweetener program to increase the pH level of your soil to bring it to a more fertile range. Our Soil Fertility Program is focused on increasing specific nutrient levels that may have dropped below the optimal pH balance. And then we have the Soil Balancer Program that targeting soils that have a high pH, so this program will decrease the pH level of the soil, creating a more balanced pH level.
